"Share the Love" Ice Skating Event to Support Homeless and Community Animals in Need
NOVA Parks and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) are asking animal lovers to extend their Valentine’s Day spirit and “Share the Love” with the AWLA by donating pet supplies that are most in need.

Bring a donation from the list of pet supplies most in need to Ice Skating at Cameron Run on Sunday, February 19, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to support homeless animals and keep pets healthy and in the homes where they are loved. To view options for online giving, visit alexandriaanimals.org/support-us.
As a thank you for the donation to the AWLA, each individual or family who donates pet supplies can save $1 off of ice skating admission using promo code AWLA23 when purchasing tickets online for Sunday, February 19. Tickets include ice skating and skate rental. Offer only valid online; cannot be combined with other offers.
Ice Skating at Cameron Run is located at Cameron Run Regional Park, 4001 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, 22304 and is open through February on weekends and holidays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

About Animal Welfare League of Alexandria
Since 1946, the AWLA has been a resource for the Alexandria community and a shelter for homeless animals. The AWLA helps animals find homes and provides resources to keep beloved pets with their families during difficult times. With the support of a volunteer corps of 500 animal lovers, the AWLA cares for more than 2,000 animals per year, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, iguanas and chinchillas.
