Camping - Group Camping at Pohick Bay

Camp Wilson

Pohick Bay Regional Park offers group camping facilities available by reservation only to organized youth groups, including but not limited to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church youth groups and school groups.

Camp Wilson is a more remote location linked to the main park by a one-mile hiking trail or a short drive on Gunston Road. This camp facility offers full service restroom facilities including showers and a dishwashing area centrally located to the camp sites. It also offers an amphitheater and open play field which are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be shared by all campers. Each camping area contains picnic tables, a grill and a fire ring or a grill/fire ring combination.

Pohick Bay Regional Park has a variety of hiking trails suited for all skill levels easily accessible by all group camping areas. All guests utilizing our group camping areas should respect and follow NOVA Parks group camping rules and regulations and the guidelines set forth by Leave No Trace (LNT) principles.
