NOVA Parks 2024 ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL REPORT

NOVA Parks presents its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for Year Ending June 30, 2024. 

We are pleased to submit to you the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority (the Authority) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, in accordance with the Code of Virginia. The financial statements included in this report conform to accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP) as promulgated by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). Responsibility for the accuracy of the data and the completeness and fairness of the presentation including all disclosures rests with management. To the best of our knowledge and belief, the enclosed data are accurate in all material respects and are reported in a manner that presents fairly the financial position of the governmental activities and business type activities, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information of the Authority, as of June 30, 2024, and the respective changes in financial position and cash flows, where applicable. All necessary disclosures have been included to enable the reader to gain the maximum understanding of the Authority’s finances.
