CURRENT STATUS:

Park gates and the parking lot is now open. The manor house and related areas are closed. The sanctuary is open for walking/hiking from dawn to dusk. Please use proper social distancing protocols when hiking/walking. Please take all trash with you when you leave. 

Rust Manor House at Rust Sanctuary is a partnership of the Nature Forward and NOVA Parks.

Rust Sanctuary is 68 acres of diverse habitat right in the heart of Leesburg. With wonderful walking trail that have nice sitting benches, you can do some birding, nature exploration, and photography and more.

Good size nature preserve in the heart of the southwest corner of Leesburg in between Loudoun County High School and the west Leesburg exit of route 7. Several trails snake through the woods and around the pond there. Historic manor house available for events such as weddings.
