Fountainhead has everything - hiking, mountain biking, fishing & boating! Ample enough parking, with some canoe & kayak boat rental options. The trail runs from easy to difficult depending how far you hike. There are some great picnic spots near the creek. Our dog loves this hike! When paddling we often see bald eagles and great blue herons. It never seems to get too busy that you can’t enjoy some peace and quiet on the water.

The premier MTB trail network in northern Virginia. Surprisingly challenging given the limited elevation change. 2 mile green loop. 6.5 mile green and blue loop. Add another 6 miles to include the black loop. Green and blue include roots and technical sections but not many rocks. Some jumps, drops, and other features. Very well maintained by local volunteers. Support local mountain biking by joining MORE.
