Camp Grow
Explore nature through hands-on discovery activities at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens
Summer Camp registration is now open!
CAMP GROW at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, in Vienna, VA, invites children and teens to explore nature through hands-on discovery activities, gardening, nature walks, hikes, art, crafts, storytelling, and animal programs. Picnic lunches in the Gardens, games, and cooperative challenges add to camp fun, encourage new friendships, and provide great summer memories. Our camp staff works hard to create a curriculum that weaves new activities with familiar annual traditions.
CAMP GROW is designed to engage, challenge, educate, and encourage a sense of community. We value and encourage the inclusion of all campers in every activity.
Each day, campers bring their own snacks, lunches, and beverages and come dressed for the weather and activities. By registering for Camp Grow, campers and their parents/guardians agree to the Camp Grow Policies and Code of Conduct that focus on fostering a safe, positive, and cooperative camp environment.
Camp Grow offers specialty camps (art, crafts, and Adventurers) and nature camps. PLEASE NOTE: CAMP GROW nature camps invite children to discover the wonders of nature through engaging, hands-on activities designed for three distinct age groups – Sprouts (ages 5-7), Cardinals (ages 6-8) and Dragonflies (ages 9-11). Each nature camp offers the same exciting themes and curriculum, thoughtfully adapted to suit the interests and developmental levels of each group. While the activities remain consistent across sessions, attending more than one camp is generally not recommended unless the child has a strong passion for nature and would enjoy repeating the same experiences.
