NOVA Parks' The StoryWalk® Project

NOVA Parks is excited to join The StoryWalk® Project, an international movement combining literacy, exercise, nature, and family bonding. Now seen in all 50 states as well as in 13 countries, these trails with laminated pages from story books posted at intervals are an innovative and fun way for children – and adults! – to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.

Visit all five of our NOVA Parks that offer StoryWalks®: Carlyle House, Gilbert’s Corner Regional Park, Meadowlark Gardens, Potomac Overlook, and Temple Hall Farm. Enjoy reading and a good walk!
