Join us for our Halloween weekend programs during your camping stay at Pohick Bay! We have prepared for you an array of spooky activities including Haunted Mini Golf, Pumpkin Painting, Site Trick-or-Treating, Hay Wagon Rides, Movie Night and much more.

Friday—Evening Programs

  • Crazy S'mores 5-6pm - Try out crazy s’more combinations by our camp fire in the open play field!
  • Movie Night 7-9pm - Enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus and popcorn!

Location: Open Play Field in the Family Campground

Saturday—All-Day Events

  • Hayride & Photo Op 10-11am - Tickets $4/person (4x5 photo included)
  • Fall Festivities 12-2pm - Enjoy a moon bounce, face painting, cotton candy and more!
  • Pumpkin Painting Contest 1pm - Bring your painted pumpkin to be judged for a prize! ($5/pumpkin painting kit sold at the camp store)
  • Costume Contest 2pm - Bring your spooky style to win a prize!
  • Site Trick-or-Treating 4-6pm - Travel from site to site in costume! Sites open for trick or treaters are designated with a glow-stick.
  • Movie Night 6pm - Enjoy the movie Addams Family and popcorn!

    Haunted Mini Golf  7-9pm - Navigate our spookified 18-hole mini golf course.  Putters and glow in the dark balls will be provided free, for registered campers!  Our shuttle will transport campers to/from the open play field to the mini golf course (it can be treated as a night time hayride if you wish to skip the course).  Last shuttle pick up from the open play field is at 8:30 pm.

Location: Open Play Field in the Family Campground 

Sunday—Morning Craft 9:00 - 10:00am

Join Pohick Bay Campground staff for a morning campground craft, all supplies are provided. This week’s craft will be Spooky Suncatchers.  After all the fun is done, you get to bring home your craft creation! 

A staff member will lead the craft program at the picnic shelter in the Open Play Field within the Family Campground
