Holiday Wreath Workshop
Next Date
-
Join us for a festive wreath-making workshop guided by our talented horticulturists, Sarah Causey and Thomas Bardroff on Saturday, December 7, 1:00pm-2:30pm. For $80 per person, participants will create their own beautiful holiday wreath using natural materials gathered throughout the year by the Meadowlark horticulture team.
Your wreath may feature a variety of fresh-cut greens (holly, pine, spruce, cedar), dried flowers (such as amaranth, sea holly, gomphrena, goldenrod), seed pods (like lotus, coneflower, nigella), and dried grasses. Sarah and Thomas will introduce the materials, demonstrate how to secure them to a pre-made vine frame (handcrafted from vines collected on-site), and assist throughout the workshop.
Enjoy hot chocolate, tea, and festive holiday tunes as you craft your unique wreath to take home! Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot early! Online registration is required.
The workshop will take place at our Horticulture Shop, about a 7 minute walk from our Visitor Center. Please email jmaloney@nvrpa.org if you require assistance.
