2025 is the Year of the Snake! What better way to celebrate serpents than with a free outdoor adventure? Explore the sights, sounds, and textures of winter with our Naturalist on a short sensory hike. Then listen to a story about snakes and the Lunar New Year and enjoy a fun craft!

· This FREE family program is appropriate for all ages.

· Recommended for ages 6 and under.

· Children (18yr & under) must be accompanied by an adult.

· Please meet on the front porch of Catherine’s Lodge.

· NO reservations needed.

Ice & Lights' Daytime Ice Skating

Enjoy gliding on the ice at Cameron Run Regional Park, just minutes from Old Town Alexandria! Open weekends and holidays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., through February 23. Plus, enjoy a romantic Valentine's Day evening on the ice, from 5 to 9 p.m.! Tickets are only available for purchase online.
