Pavilion at Occoquan

The Pavilion at Occoquan Park offers picnicking for groups up to 1,500. Amenities include electricity, covered seating with tables for up to 250 and additional field space available for larger events. Additional parking is available within the park. The Pavilion is located near the batting cages and in proximity to restrooms. The spacious fields next to the Pavilion provide the perfect atmosphere for a variety of field games and amusement devices.

Lilac Pavilion

Our newest pavilion is located on one of Meadowlark’s beautiful open fields just before you enter the garden. Available for reservations seven days a week, this is the perfect location for a casual celebration or gathering.

Brambleton Wedding Pavilion

Event Pavilion

The Brambleton Pavilion located at Brambleton Golf Course is the ideal location for your next event. The large, outdoor pavilion has the capacity to seat 150-200 guests and provides a wonderful view of our golf course. It is a great place to host a birthday party, graduation party, wedding, bridal shower, and much more!

The event space includes the pavilion, patio area, and pergola. Flexible event times are available. Tables and chairs are included with the rental and setup can be customized to your liking. In-house catering is available and outside catering is permitted upon prior approval.

Picnic Shelters

Occoquan Regional Park features several covered picnic shelters available for rent for large corporate events, family gatherings, groups, etc. Shelters are adjacent to large fields to accommodate a large variety of field games.

Weddings & Event Rentals

Mt. Zion is available as a unique setting for your wedding, business meeting or social event. Seating for up to 85 people is offered inside the church, and the grounds are perfect for a party under a tent. The interior of the church contains classic pew style seating. An 19th-century style pulpit overlooks the crowd. The entire interior creates a very unique backdrop for meetings and weddings.

Visitor Center

The Visitor Center is the entrance by which guests will pass through upon their entry into the gardens. Guests may speak with our front desk staff to have questions answered regarding your visit or about other parks in the NOVA Parks Agency. Consider stopping in to our gift shop to find some local artisan gifts or a snack to have while you walk the grounds. Additionally, the Visitor Center provides indoor seating and is where guests can find the restrooms for the gardens prior to entering or upon departing.

Gazebo Rentals

Settled within Meadowlark Botanical Gardens are three gazebos that serve as perfect locations for an intimate wedding ceremony. Each wedding gazebo accommodates varying capacities and are located throughout the garden. Maximum capacities range between 50 to 120 standing guests in and around the gazebos.

The exquisite gardens and Magnolia Terrace at Carlyle House offer an elegant and intimate setting in the heart of historic Old Town Alexandria for both business and social functions. Whether you are hosting a retirement, anniversary, engagement party, wedding, or reception, Carlyle House offers the perfect location. The site is half a block off of King Street and a block and a half from the waterfront – making it easy for guests to walk to and from nearby hotels and popular gathering spots. Parking is readily available at adjacent parking garages.

The park is available for rentals from April 1 through October 31. You may host your event on the tented Magnolia Terrace, in the beautiful garden, or on the expansive front lawn. In addition to evening receptions, we also offer two-hour ceremony rentals at almost any time. Maximum capacity varies from 65 – 100 depending upon the location you wish to utilize. The gardens and terrace are wheelchair accessible.

The Gardens

The Carlyle House garden offers a 3/4 acre open green space in the center of Old Town Alexandria for lunch or quiet solitude. Designed in the 18th-century style, the garden features carefully researched plant materials which would have been available to John Carlyle during his occupancy. Brick walks, benches, boxwood parterres, and a lovely cutting garden make the Carlyle House garden a charming respite from the town’s hustle and bustle.

Picnic Shelter & Pavilions

Cameron Run Regional Park and Great Waves Waterpark offers a rental picnic shelter #1 and two corporate pavilions that are perfect for picnics with family, friends and coworkers. The picnic shelter includes tables and grills. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all regional parks. Restroom facilities are available on the outside of the waterpark entrance building. Use of grills or any other cooking device is not permitted in the park Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day except in Shelter 1.
